Jarome Luai was born on 16 January 1997 to Martin Luai (Father) and Raumako Rai (Mother) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
His father was charged with drug trafficking in 2015 and was taken to the Brisbane maximum security prison cell. His family separated when the minute police raided their Dharruk home.
His father was unable to watch Jarome’s NRL debut because of being in jail at that time but he cried every minute after hearing Jarome’s NRL debut on the radio.
Jarome’s father is a Samoan descendant. Jarome has two younger sisters and a younger brother.

Who Is Jarome Luai?
Jarome Luai is a Samoa international rugby league footballer. He plays for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League as a five-eighth.
Before signing with the Penrith Panthers, he played his junior league for the St Marys Saints. He made his debut for New South Wales in 2021 in game 1 where his team defeated Queensland 50-6.
Jarome and his life partner Bailey Paris Tolefoa are blessed with three children named Israel Luai, Akira Luai, and Halo Luai.
